Had a great experience with First Vehicle Finance. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted in terms of payment options, all I knew was that I wanted a new car! This was my first experience in financing a car, so obviously a bit apprehensive about what I was getting myself into. But Will was really helpful in explaining the different finance options they have to offer. I learned of the different payment profiles, monthly instalments, leasing contracts, all down to the nitty gritty. After this, I decided to go with FVF. The process was really easy, straightforward, and if I had question, they were more than happy to help, and quickly. Then I learned they deliver your car free of charge! Which saved me arranging a ride to the garage to collect :) All in all, great service and would recommend to family and friends.
Hi Will I am currently out the country working, I have been in regular contact with my wife she told me that the transfer of the vehicles went down without a hitch, unfortunately I was in Iraq when this all happened so as yet I have not seen the car in the flesh, but I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help from start to finish of the process, I had a good experience the first time I dealt with you and have had another flawless experience this time and I look forward to dealing with you again in another 3 years thanks agaim Will.
I am a company car user and have 2 cars with First Finance and regularly speak to Richard Mayle and Juliet via email,in the last few weeks I purchased a car for my wife, very happy with the car everything from start to finish happened so easily and efficiently. Fantastic service.
Good Morning Chris
Just reporting back on my new company car I recieved from you yesterday. Very impressed on the model and spec of the car, what is also incredible is that its a bigger engine than my previouse model yet it has a lower emission output. This is good from a tax point but also better for the enviroment. The MPG is also better so that will result in operating cost for the company being lower. I have to say that when my old car was collected it was a bit sad as it had given me 3 years of trouble free motoring.I had not even had to change one single light bulb on the car during that time.Look forward to the next three years of motoring with my new car. Thanks again for all the help with giving me and my colleques all the P11D information for us to send to the HMRC office regarding personal taxation liability and the delivery was right on the day specified.
I am would just like to say thank you to First Vehicle Finance for organising my new car that arrived this week.
This is now the second car I have had from you and on both occasions, I found Will and Rob to be professional and efficient in the way that they dealt with my order.
I will continue to recommend your service to my friends, family and colleagues in the future.
The car arrived today and I just want to say 'thank you' for your work and your support in getting it to me ready for my move on Saturday. You made it very easy for me and gave me confidence throughout that it was all under control.
I really appreciate you doing all of this and wish you a great Easter weekend.
All the very best
Will kept my details on file and contacted me as soon as a deal became available on a car closest to my specification. After that, the whole process was pain free.
Car arrived before time and is completely as expected, with no disappointments.
Thanks for your help, which in the time frame, went beyond exemplary. The service given was first class and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone.
I Received my Volvo V40 R Design today and could not be happier. The car has more than met my expectations, but just as important the service from you has been impeccable throughout. From the initial very competitive quote, all the way through to the delivery today was a pleasure that I could not fault in any way. Keep up the exceptional work, Thanks a lot.
David - a quick note to thank you for sorting out the X3.
The car arrived at 9:10 this morning, and Bernard Rooney followed up with a call to see if everything was ok.
I did not expect this level of service as we had not bought from you before, and I'm delighted.
Thanks for all your help over the months on sorting out the finance and spec on my X3 and June and John's X1.
Many companies spout about excellent customer service but few deliver like your company has.
Thanks again, Giles
If you are looking for an upmarket electric car that’s easy to drive around town and has a super stylish interior look no further than the BMW i3. While it comes with a hefty £35 000 price tag which is rather significant for a little car – one needs to be reminded of the other savings in the long run.
£0 road tax and no soaring petrol / diesel costs. In some London boroughs you even get free parking and at a whopping £25’s a day to park – that’s a bargain. But let’s not fret over the large price tag if you are buying this eco warrior (yes it is also CO2 zero rated and made from recycled plastic!). You are far better off leasing this vehicle for a fraction of the price. It was first launched in 2013 and upgraded in 2017 to include sportier bumpers, LED headlights and an upgraded infotainment system.
It comes with a high-resolution 10.2-inch screen with sat nav as standard. Upon sitting in the car the beautiful wooden dashboard trims and partial leather seats aren’t standard - however even without one of the upgraded packs, the i3’s cabin still looks plush and there’s plenty of space for you to get comfortable – even if you are really tall. For a little car you do not feel squashed or claustrophobic. The interior is very light and airy and there seems to be plenty space for a family of 4 plus a dog! The back seats feel less squashed than most little cars and this is due to the oddly shaped rear windows
Unfortunately, there is only enough space in the back for 2 seats. However, it is really easy to get in and out of the back seats as there is no centre pillar to get in the way and the back doors open up in reverse.
Sadly, it’s a strict four-seater and it’s boot isn’t particularly spacious. As a result, both the Renault Zoe and Nissan Leaf are more practical. You can get the i3 as a pure-electric car or with a petrol-powered range extender.
If you want to use your car mainly for in town pick the cheaper electric-only model. It doesn’t quite match the Renault Zoe in terms of safety. It earned a four-star score from Euro NCAP in 2013 compared to the Renault Zoe’s five-star rating in the same year.
However if you can live with 4 out of 5 for safety BMW’s i3 is a stylish small family car that’s worth considering if you mainly drive in town and have somewhere to charge it – bearing in mind you will need to install a charging station at home.
